Yes! We offer both in-person and virtual counselling sessions.
No referral is necessary! You can contact us directly. Following a brief phone consultation, if services are an appropriate fit for your needs, you can book an appointment to get started.
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and explore the concerns or experiences that brought you to therapy. We'll also begin to identify your goals and what you hope to gain from the process.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long and are scheduled weekly or bi-weekly. The number of sessions varies based on individual needs, the nature of the concerns, and their severity.
We require at least 48 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Clients who provide less than 48 hour notice or miss their appointment, will be charged the full session fee. This policy is in place to ensure respect for your time, your therapist's time, and the needs of other clients seeking appointments.
Many extended health insurance plans will provide some coverage for counselling with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Please inquire directly with your service provider for details. Please note we do not offer direct billing but will provide you with a receipt for reimbursement.
We accept credit card, e-transfer, or cash.
Parking is free! The best place to park is behind the Holiday Inn Express. You'll find the hotel loading zone, the main entrance, The Sawmill Taphouse, and Coastal Offices in this area. We are located inside Coastal Offices, through the main entrance.
